Order for the Power Generating Industry
For small to mid-size power plants canned motor pumps are the ideal solution for pumping Hot Water under high pressure condition. The sealless design eliminates the necessity of a complex and easy-to-fail double mechanical seal. The pumps are of multistage design to meet the large delivery head requirements and are installed in a Inceneration Plant erected in The Netherlands.
New Teikoku Hybrid Guardian THG
The new digital Dual Function Rotor Position Monitor is now available, as option.
The monitor provides both axial and radial bearing monitoring functions . The progress in bearing wear is constantly indicated on the illuminated LED scale.
Besides, 4-20 mA Output Signals for both monitoring functions are built-in, so that a the pump can be monitored from the control room without the necessity of going into the plant.

Teikoku manufactures the 550.000th Canned Motor Pump
On November 27 we could celebrate an impressive company record. Since the production start in 1960 the 550.000th canned motor pump was completed and delivered to the customer.
This makes Teikoku the worldwide leading manufacturer in the field of sealless and leakage-free pump design.
Teikoku increases Engagement on the German Market
Because of the present economical growth our customers will be now directly supported from our Dusseldorf based sales office. For this reason, more sales personnel has been employed and existing distributor agreements were terminated. The direct customer contact allows us to provide a better performance in terms of technical and commercial matters, as well as after-sales services like repair, maintainence, and spare parts.
Teikoku on the ACHEMA 2006
For the first time Teikoku participated as main exhibitor during the ACHEMA 2006. Mainly new developments were shown during the exhibition.
For instance, the new ISO 2858 Chemical Pump, the new Regenerative Turbine Pump with a Teikoku motor and a Chempump casing, and the new Dual Function Rotor Position Monitor were shown.
Great interest was paid to the lottery where we asked all visitors when Teikoku would complete and ship the 550.000th canned motor pump. In the end, more than 530 guests participated in the lottery.
Teikoku further expands on the Asian Market
Because of the increasing sales activity Teikoku decided to open a new branch office in Seoul, Korea. Starting in October 2005 Mr. Ueyama is responsible as Sales Manager for this rapidly growing market.
Teikoku enters European High Speed Train Market
Teikoku is a 100% supplier of pumps used on the Japanese high speed train Shinkansen. Now, Teikoku received the first order of 20 pumps from a European high speed train manufacturer. The pumps are used to cool the motor control unit and are specially designed to meet shock and vibration criteria. To reduce weight, the pump casing is made of Aluminium and is equipped with a 1,5 kW motor.
Teikoku now listed at Tokyo Stock Exchange
February 28, 2005 is a memorable day in Teikoku history. We are pleased to announce, that our stock is now listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE). A special ceremony was held in the TSE to celebrate Teikoku's IPO in Tokyo.
New 65kW Ceramic Motor now available
Teikoku has just finished the design of the new 65kW ceramic motor. This motor withstands high temperature service without the need of an external cooling system. The maximum allowable fluid temperature is 270°C to meet T1 surface temperature criteria. If no EX protection is required fluid temperature can even be higher.
Pumps for Acrylic Acid Plant
Teikoku received the order for the expansion of an Acrylic Acid plant in Antwerp, Belgium. In this plant already many Teikoku pumps are in service including the special pump type XG. This vertical pump with gas barrier has been particulary developed for this kind of process. The gas barrier prevents, that any process fluid gets in contact with hot spots inside the pump and avoids polymerization of the fluid.
Pumps for Large Size Absorption Chiller Machines
Teikoku delivers 12 pumps of Type L for several process chiller machines to Iran. The Type L has been specially developed for this service with water and LiBr. Besides vaccum tightness, the pumps provide NPSH values less than 0.5 m despite specified large flow capacities. The rated motor power lasts up to 18.5 kW.
Ceramic Pumps for High Temperature Service
Teikoku received the order of 16 high temperature pumps with ceramic insulated motor coil for a textile manufacturer in Taiwan. This motor design does not require cooling and is used at service temperatures up to 350 Degree Celsius. The process liquid is heat transfer oil and is used to dry textile fibers.
DOW Approved Teikoku as Global Supplier
Teikoku has been added to DOW's high standard Approved Material Supplier List (AMSL). So far, worldwide only twenty suppliers have been approved to be included in this list. Now, Teikoku is a qualified supplier for general sealless pump applications, as well as for specific applications in Chlorine transfers.
Pumps for FCC Desulpherization Service
Teikoku has received a large order for FCC desulpherization service in a refinery expansion project in Hungary. Teikoku delivers pumps in the motor range of 3 to 110kW. All motors are EEx d IIC T3 certified. Many items are for Hydro Carbon service. Therefore, most pumps are of vertical R-Type design with recirulation port.
