TIME-CONSUMING MAINTENANCE - Motor and bearing lubrication levels must be continually monitored.

SEPARATE MOTOR AND PUMP - Must constantly kept in proper alignment. Motor is exposed. A foundation is necessary to support the increased weight and reduce the danger of misalignment.

ELEVATED NOISE LEVEL - Separate motor cooling fan is required. Rotating fan greatly contributes to noise increase.

THIN CONTAINMENT SHELL - Subject to damage by magnets and subsequent leakage. No secondary containment.
